This Christmas, cast All you anxieties on Him!

The Christmas season can be a season of much anxiety if we let it. For example: Concert tonight, caroling tomorrow night, Go here, go there, Buy this, pick up that, Too many sweets, too many pounds, Too many things on the wish list and not enough money! Does this sound familiar? If so, take a couple minuets to think on these verses. they are very encouraging!

"Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you".
*1 Peter 5:7

" Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what will you eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more then food, and the body more then clothing"?
*Matthew 6:25

"Therefor do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself, sufficient for the day is its own trouble".
*Matthew 6:34

"But the Lord answered her "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her".
*Luke 10:41

"And which of you being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 26. If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest"?
*Luke 12:25-26

"do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus".
*Phil.4:6-7

These last two should inspire us to encourage other brothers and sisters in Christ when experiencing anxiety.

"Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong: fear not! Behold your God will come with vengeance with the recompense of God. He will come and save you".
*Isaiah 35:4

"Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad".
*Proverbs 12:25
